North Fulton Community Charities has announced a toy drive in the coming days when it will collect new, unwrapped toys for the annual Santa Shop, where more than 600 families will be able to select gifts for their children.

Toys are needed for youngsters ages 1 through 18, officials said. Also, merchant gift cards in increments of $25 are needed for pre-teens and teens. Donations will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Dec. 10-14, at the NFCC Holiday Distribution Site, 610 Holcomb Bridge Road, Suite 260, Roswell (next to the Big Lots store).

More than 1,100 children will be served by the program this year, officials said. Donations will be arranged in a toy store format, and qualified parents will be able to select children’s gifts in a store-like setting.

“It gives (parents) control and dignity during a stressful time in their lives,” said Eden Purdy, director of programs at North Fulton Charities.

The NFCC Holiday Program is sponsored by the Malon D. Mimms Co., UPS and DataScan. Information: https://nfccholiday.org/
