A Lawrenceville home was severely damaged by a Monday morning fire, according to the Gwinnett County Department of Fire and Emergency Services.

Firefighters were dispatched at 9:15 a.m. to the home. Two residents escaped unharmed from the house on Sir Knights Way Southeast, but the fire department reported “heavy damage” to the structure.

The blaze is under investigation, and the cause is currently undetermined.
