Federal investigators are still trying to identify the man allegedly responsible for robbing two banks in late 2016, one in Alpharetta and the other in Tifton.

In the Alpharetta case, a man approached a teller at the Chase Bank located at 4170 Old Milton Parkway, presented a demand note and “announced a robbery,” Federal Bureau of Investigation officials said. He left with an undisclosed amount of money.

That was Oct. 19.

On Nov. 9, a man did the same thing at the SunTrust Bank located at 200 John Howard Way in Tifton. The suspect — described as 25 to 35 years old with a thin build and brown hair — was also seen in that bank the day prior.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477.
