The FBI and Duluth police are looking for a suspect in multiple recent armed robberies.

The suspect first hit a T-Mobile store on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth on June 11. He held up a gun and demanded the store’s manager put iPhone 7 Plus phones in his backpack, the FBI said in a release.

The second robbery occurred at an AT&T store on June 14. The suspect, wearing all black with a red bandanna covering his face, held up a gun and demanded an employee place iPhone 7 Plus phones in his backpack, according to the FBI. He told the employee not to put anything but the phones in his bag, the release said.

The suspect is in his late 20s to early 30s and slender, and he may have facial hair. He wore dark jogging pants with vertical white stripes on the sides and carried a black backpack with a bright orange lining. His weapon is described as a black semi-automatic handgun with “possible orange front sights.”

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
