Dunwoody police were alerted to multiple car break-ins on Wednesday night.

The calls were in the Perimeter Mall area and were in addition to similar incidents in Brookhaven and Sandy Springs, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.

There were as many as seven in Dunwoody. At about the same time, there was also an armed robbery at a money exchange business at 6890 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, police said.

The agency reminded residents to be mindful that the holiday season is a time to be extra careful about leaving valuables in your car.
