Central Atlanta Progress and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District will host their semi-annual town hall meeting 8 a.m. July 27 at the American Cancer Society Center Theater, 250 Williams Street NW. Attendees will have the opportunity to network over coffee with key downtown stakeholders, residents and business owners at 7:30 a.m.

The town hall meetings is free and open to the public and designed to enlighten the community on downtown’s progress. The meeting is set to address a broad range of subjects, from public safety to public spaces, events and entertainment to plans for future growth. Specific agenda items include:

• A public safety briefing from ADID and the Atlanta Police Department

• Downtown special events traffic management team coordination

• Downtown news and program updates, including the Downtown Market Study, the Atlanta Arts & Entertainment District, the Downtown Atlanta Master Plan and more

An open forum question and answer session will follow the presentation.
