Donate food, water for Harvey survivors in Texas at Duluth City Hall

The city of Duluth and Advanced Arboriculture Solutions are partnering up to deliver food and water to Texas residents who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey.

You can drop off non-perishable items, canned goods and cases of bottled water at Duluth City Hall any time before Friday evening. City Hall closes at 5 p.m. The landscaping company will pick up the donations that evening and drive them to Texas on Saturday morning.

The hurricane, now a tropical storm, dumped more than five feet of rain on Houston and the surrounding area, flooding homes, displacing thousands of people  and causing the deaths of at least 31 people.
