DeKalb to help job seekers with 11 events this month

Starting June 27, workers who want to receive unemployment benefits in Georgia have to prove each week that they are looking for a job.

The Work Source DeKalb Mobile Career Center will be stationed throughout the county during December.

The mobile unit provides residents with job search assistance, adult workshops and training, resume writing and interviewing tips. Businesses can also use it for recruiting, pre-employment screenings, interviewing and training.
