A 50-year-old Lithonia man faces an aggravated child molestation charge after being caught in a sex act with a young boy, according to DeKalb police records released Tuesday.

It was the victim’s father who discovered Milton Rodriguez in a 2008 Lexus ES350 with the child before daylight Monday morning, the documents say. The child’s age was redacted, but the warrant says the victim was a boy under the age of 16, who told his father they were having sex.

“Defendant jumped out of car naked,” the tersely worded warrant says.

Police soon got a call about a fight.

The father told officers he found the crime taking place on a residential street off Ga. 124. It was about eight miles from Rodriquez’s home.

Further information wasn't released.

Rodriguez remained in the county jail Tuesday afternoon without bond.

Six soldiers were honored, each receiving Meritorious Service Medals, Thursday for heroic actions responding to the shooting at Fort Stewart. “One of the things I can say unequivocally is that the fast action of these soldiers — under stress and under trauma and under fire — absolutely saved lives from being lost,” U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll told reporters as the six soldiers stood near him Thursday. “They are everything that is good about this nation.” (Hyosub Shin/AJC)
