Gwinnett County police are looking for three men who posed as employees in an attempt to steal more than $100,000 in high-end clothing and accessories.

Two men wearing yellow safety vests parked a U-Haul truck outside of Neiman Marcus Last Call at Sugarloaf Mills on Jan. 28 and walked into the store with a dolly. They loaded the dolly with a “glass display case filled with more than $100,000 in merchandise” and tried to take it to the truck, according to police.

Employees confronted the men, and a scuffle broke out, police said. A manager was pepper sprayed and the glass case broke before the two men abandoned the scheme and ran away.

Police are looking for three men caught on surveillance tape renting the U-Haul that was used in the attempted burglary. They used a fake driver’s license and a prepaid gift card to rent the truck.
