Kenan Griggs, left, and Ervin Woodyard are accused by DeKalb County police of sex trafficking after going to a hotel to meet a minor, according to records.

Two men are facing charges after allegedly trying to meet a minor for sex in DeKalb County.

Kenan Griggs, 30, of Porterdale and Ervin Woodyard, 26, of Lithia Springs went to a hotel in the Stonecrest area last Thursday, police said.

Each man had arranged a date with a girl he thought was a minor, police said. The pair were charged with sex trafficking.

It isn’t clear if the suspects were together.

Incident reports released this week suggest there never was a girl. Instead the men allegedly walked into a sting by DeKalb police and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which is made up of federal, state and local authorities.

Both men are now free on $1,500 bond, according to jail records.

Further details on the case haven’t been released.
