Two men have been arrested after a man was allegedly pistol-whipped outside a shopping plaza near the Gwinnett Place Mall.

Ja Young Lee has been charged with reckless conduct and Young No Lee has been charged with aggravated assault, battery and reckless conduct.

Police responded to 3525 Mall Blvd. in Duluth at 1:05 a.m. Sunday. A man told a police officer that Young No Lee had accused him of grabbing his shoulder. Young No Lee then hit him in the face with a handgun, pointed the gun in his face and then hit him with the gun again. The victim’s friends were able to get the gun away from Young No Lee, according to a Gwinnett County police report.

After the gun was taken from Young No Lee, Ja Young Lee went to a car and returned with another gun, a witness told police. Ja Young Lee was held down by other witnesses, who took the gun from him, the witness said.

Ja Young Lee and Young No Lee were both arrested and booked into the Gwinnett County Detention Center. Ja Young Lee posted a $1,300 bond and Young No Lee posted a $9,400 bond.
