Authorities are looking for the person who attacked a lawyer Monday night in downtown Atlanta, Channel 2 Action News reported. The lawyer told police he knew the suspect -- one of his clients.
Around 7 p.m., police were dispatched to the 100 block of Spring Street, where they found 39-year-old Rand Csehy on the ground, bleeding from his head, Officer John Chafee said.
Csehy, of the Csehy Law Group, told police that he was attacked from behind while getting into his vehicle. He said he was hit in the back of the head, then kicked and hit repeatedly after falling down.
The perpetrator left the scene on foot.
Csehy was taken to Atlanta Medical Center in stable condition, authorities said.
