Police in Milton are searching for a suspect who they believe slashed a woman’s tires on Aug. 18.

According to a police report, police arrived on the scene after the owner called and noticed a note that was left on her car. Apparently, the suspect was unhappy with the way the 32-year-old Milton woman parked her car on Morris Road.

The note read: “parking like this is rude you (expletive),” according to the report.

Police said there were fingerprints on the windshield, but they were too “smudged” to get any usable prints.

The suspect slashed the back passenger-side tire of the woman’s white 2017 GMC Terrain, and a tire on the U-Haul trailer attached to the vehicle was punctured, police said.

According to the police report, the victim told police she saw a black Honda Accord parked behind the U-Haul trailer for a brief moment. Police believe that car belongs to a man who lives in the same apartment complex, but they were unable to contact him.

The police report made no mention of the quality of the victim’s parking job.
