FBI agents and Atlanta police officers arrested Lewis Steven Richardson, 59. Police say he robbed a bank in Atlanta.

A man has been arrested for allegedly committing an armed robbery of a Wells Fargo bank inside an Atlanta mall this week.

The suspect entered the bank and presented a demand note while pointing his handgun at a teller and “maintaining his finger on the trigger,” according to police.

He left the bank, located inside Greenbriar Mall at 2841 Greenbriar Parkway, with an undisclosed amount of money.

FBI agents and Atlanta police officers arrested Lewis Steven Richardson, 59, Wednesday.

Information on how he was located was not provided.

Richardson, of Atlanta, faces state charges and federal charges are anticipated, according to a news release.

He is booked in Fulton County jail, and will have his first appearance Thursday at 11 a.m.
