Don't sit around the house all Saturday wishing you could pet a goat.

Head on down to the Rosewood Goat Farm's Open House (or Goatpen House, if you please) between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday and you can pet a goat.

"Observe the goats with their quirky personalities," according to a flier for the event. You can also take a walking tour of the 50-acre farm.

Just don't bring your pets to the active farm because they might not play nice with the goats.

There will also be representatives from the Cobb Parks Coalition to talk about the farm's future as a possible park in the ongoing issue of Cobb County funding parkland.
