June 18 is the deadline for Cobb County residents to file an appeal if they disagree with this year’s value on their properties. The Cobb County Board of Tax Assessors has mailed more than 235,000 residential assessment notices. Of that number, about 127,000 properties increased in value.

Property owners have 45 days from the date on their notice to file an appeal if they disagree with the value.
