Cobb transportation projects will begin this month at two Cobb Parkway intersections.
Cobb Parkway at Cedarcrest Road/Awtrey Church Road will consist of adding dual left-turning lanes from Cobb Parkway/U.S. 41 northbound to Cedarcrest Road westbound and upgraded pedestrian improvements.
Cobb Parkway at Dallas Acworth Highway will include the addition of a dual left-turn lane on Cobb Parkway northbound to Ga. 92 southbound.
Other intersection improvements will include new crosswalks and pedestrian signalization, new traffic signalization, resurfacing of the intersection and the widened sections, associated pavement markings and signage.
Also, Ga. 92 southbound will be widened to two lanes from Cobb Parkway to Acworth Dallas Road.
Ga. 92 northbound will be widened for an exclusive right-turn lane.
