  • Welcome to Kennesaw Mountain. 11-11:30 a.m. Saturday. Hear a Ranger-led presentation on the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain, the Atlanta Campaign and how these events shaped history and the park as it is today. This presentation will use maps and artifacts to illustrate this portion of history.
  • Civil War Music. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Music during the Civil War served many functions - to help organize and rally but also boost morale among soldiers. Join musician and living historian KD Braunsroth as she demonstrates this music, using the fife.
