MARTA has scheduled the last of two public meetings in November to discuss the Clayton County High Capacity Transit Initiative. The discussions will take place 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Clayton State University, Harry S. Downs Center, Ballroom 101, 2000 Clayton State Blvd. in Morrow.
The meeting will give people the opportunity to learn about the high capacity transit options under consideration, including rail and bus rapid transit. There will also be a community discussion about transit alternatives addressing economic development, transportation mobility and connectivity, access to jobs, congestion relief and more.
The evening includes a formal presentation, question and answer period and an open house. Registration starts at 6 p.m.
