The Clayton County Department of Transportaion and Development is updating its Comprehensive Transportation Plan. The CTP update will serve as a fremework for how Clayton County will improve its transportation networks to serve current and future needs. The plan considers the coomplete transporation network in Clayton County: roadways and bridges, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, freight facilities and movement and aceess to transit.
Four open house meetings are scheduled for the CTP update:
5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8 at South Clayton Recreation Center, 1837 McDonough Road, Hampton
5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 13 at Carl Rhodenizer Recreation Center, 3499 Rex Road, Rex
5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 15 at Virginia Gray Recreation Center, 1475 East Fayetteville Road, Riverdale
5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 22 at Headquarters Library, 865 Battlecreek Road, Jonesboro
The public is invited to receive information and give feedback on the future of transporation in Clayton County.
