The Cherokee County Educational Foundation offers individual grants of up to $2,500 to support innovation in teaching and learning.

The Cherokee County Educational Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports the Cherokee County Schools, has nearly doubled its annual allotment for IMPACT grants to $45,000 and is now accepting applications.

This year's grant total, to support innovation in teaching and learning, represents a $25,000 increase from last school year. The foundation will fund up to $2,500 per proposal. The funds are available to Cherokee district educators. Successful proposals must strengthen academics; demonstrate a creative and innovative approach to education; provide meaningful and engaging instruction for students; be well thought-out with a long-term benefit; and incorporate budget details.
