The Cherokee County School District is asking parents of special needs students to complete the 2018 Annual Parent Involvement Survey of the Georgia Department of Education.

“The GaDOE Division of Special Education will work collaboratively with Parent to Parent of Georgia, the statewide Parent Training Information Center, to identify needs in family involvement within the state and local districts based on statewide survey results,” according to a survey flyer.

Survey responses will be kept confidential, officials said. The survey closes May 15.

The survey is available online in English or Spanish at www.gadoe.org/Parent-Survey, www.p2pga.org or www.parentmentors.org. Those without access to the internet can request a paper copy of the survey at their child's school.
