Braselton sets municipal qualifying information

The Braselton Town Council set $180 as the qualifying fee for this year’s Nov. council elections. Council members from Districts 1 and 3 will be elected.

Municipal governments are required to set the qualifying fees and establish the dates for qualifying in any election year. Town Manager Jennifer Scott, who was also reappointed as the town’s election qualifying officer, set the qualifying dates as Aug. 19, 20 and 21. Elections are conducted by the Jackson County Elections office, 441 Gordon Street in Jefferson.
