Board of Health position open in Fayette

Fayette County’s Board of Health has an open position for a licensed physician.

The seven-member board meets quarterly in Fayetteville to assess local needs, advocate for public health programs, prepare and present the health budget for the county commissioners and provide policy guidance to the district health director. Board members are compensated $10 per meeting and have equal authority; each position has a specific requirement. The open term expires in December 2023, and candidates must be actively practicing in Fayette County.
