A DeKalb County Macy’s facility is facing layoffs, according to state of Georgia data.

The WARN database of the Georgia Department of Economic Development says 133 workers could be “impacted” at the Macy’s customer fulfillment center at 4401 Sarr Parkway in Tucker.

Macy’s hasn’t responded to requests for more information by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Macy's announced in January is was closing nearly 70 stores and laying off some 4,000 employees. The news was similar in 2016, when the North DeKalb Mall Macy's was marked for closure.

The information comes as electronics and appliance retailer, hhgregg announced it was closing all stores, including 12 in metro Atlanta. Last week shoe chain, Payless ShoeSource filed for bankruptcy and announced it was closing hundreds of stores, including four Georgia locations.
