The Better Business Bureau says people should “use extreme caution” when doing business with Duluth-based TeleCircuit Network.

The organization has received 6,001 customer inquiries and 154 complaints about TeleCircuit Network in the past three years. The company has been given an F rating from the BBB, the lowest possible rating. The rating was given due to a failure to respond to customer complaints, the BBB said in a release.

Customers have told the BBB that TeleCircuit Network “does not cancel service when requested, bills without authorization, and uses harassing collection practices,” according to a press release.

Customers also allege that the company enrolls people for services who do not want them. Many of the customers who have complained to the BBB are “elderly and/or AT&T customers,” according to the release.

The BBB has received complaints about TeleCircuit Network from customers in Georgia and 14 other states:  Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.

TeleCircuit Network has been in business for 13 years, according to the BBB website.
