Alpharetta is asking residents to participate by online survey or email to help guide the redesigns of Windward Soccer Park and Union Hill Park.

Both parks, the city said, are underutilized and no longer meet the needs of residents. Efforts are underway to remake each park “into a fun, energized space that will better attract and serve residents and Alpharetta citizens are being asked and encouraged to help.”

The city and design consultant Pond and Co. have created three concept designs for each park: “Community Garden,” “Landforms and Playgrounds” and “The Lawn” for Windward, and “Health and Fitness,” “Sculpture Garden and Skate Park” and “The Lawns” for Union Hill.

Residents are asked to rate each concept and share their hopes for the future of the parks by taking an online survey for Windward here and for Union Hill here.

Residents also can email comments to: lgurganus@alpharetta.ga.us. All responses must be received by July 22.
