If you’re one of the tens of thousands of people planning to run or watch the AJC Peachtree Road Race tomorrow, here’s a key piece of information to make your day go more smoothly.

Anything you might be carrying in a bag will be searched by police and put into a clear plastic bag as part of a number of security measures this year.

So you may want to be proactive and bring your wallet, snacks and other items in a clear bag to begin with -- or carry no bag at all.
