Alternate lanes of Ga. 400 will be closed nightly in the coming days in preparation for the reconstruction of the Ga 400/I-285 interchange in the Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

From 9 p.m., Sept. 17, to 5 a.m., Sept. 18, two right lanes and two left lanes will alternately close on northbound and southbound Ga. 400 from Hammond Drive to Abernathy Road to set up a traffic shift and install concrete barriers to create a work zone for the upcoming Mount Vernon Highway construction.

Nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sept. 18 through Sept. 20, two left lanes of northbound and southbound Ga. 400 will close from Abernathy to Hammond to install more concrete barriers for the Mount Vernon work zone.

Travel lanes will be reduced in width from 12 to 11 feet, and the left shoulders, from 5 to 2 feet. All work is weather permitting. Information: http://bit.ly/2jfU8S7
