Overnight lane closures are planned through Friday along Ga. 400 in the Sandy Springs area as part of the upcoming reconstruction of the expressway’s interchange with I-285.
The closures are planned nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
GDOT construction partners will close one right lane and one left lane alternately on Ga. 400 northbound and southbound from the Glenridge Connector to Pitts Road; and one right land and the right shoulder on the Abernathy Road on-ramp to Ga. 400 northbound.
The closures will permit geotechnical and underground utility investigations, drain cleaning and videos, GDOT says.
