Ongoing work to clear trees and prepare the landscape for the reconstruction of the Ga. 400/I-285 interchange at the top end of the Perimeter will mean continued closures of the Ga. 400 flexible shoulder lanes in the coming days.
Weather permitting, one right flex lane of Ga. 400 northbound from the North Springs MARTA station to Pitts Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Dec. 11-15, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation
Also, one right flex lane of Ga. 400 southbound from Pitts to the MARTA station will be closed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the same days. The work reflects GDOT contractors ramping up the “Transform 285/400” project in the Sandy Springs-Dunwoody-Brookhaven area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.
Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed, pay attention and watch for workers in work zones.
