Fulton County to hold more town halls after high property assessments

Fulton County has scheduled two more town hall meetings to respond to residents who are frustrated by high property assessments.

Fulton County Commission Chairman John Eaves will host the meetings.

The first will be held Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Helene S. Mills Senior Multipurpose Facility at 515 John Wesley Dobbs Ave. NE in Atlanta.

The second is Tuesday at 6:30 at the Harriett G. Darnell Senior Multipurpose Facility at 677 Fairburn Road NW in Atlanta.

District 1 Commissioner Liz Hausmann will host one Wednesday at 7 p.m. She has moved the meeting from its original location, at the Johns Creek Environmental Campus, to the auditorium at Johns Creek High School. It’s located at 5575 State Bridge Road in Johns Creek.

District 3 Commissioner Lee Morris will have a meeting June 19 at 7 p.m. at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church at 4393 Garmon Rd NW in Atlanta.

And District 5 Commissioner Marvin Arrington will host a meeting July 5 at 6 p.m. at the Wolf Creek Library at 3100 Enon Road SW in Atlanta.
