Early voting already has started for the April 18 elections to fill a hotly contested Congressional seat in the 6th district, as well as a state representative post. But it will be two weeks before it gets underway for local elections in Fulton County.

Runoffs in Roswell and South Fulton also will be held April 18, but early voting for those elections doesn’t start until April 10. It ends April 14.

In Roswell, residents who are also voting in the 6th district race — in which polls show Democrat Jon Ossoff is leading a crowded field — will have to fill out two voter cards and get two ballots. Residents there are choosing between Lori Henry and Marie Willsey for a City Council seat.

In the city of South Fulton, residents will choose between Bill Edwards and Benny Crane when they cast their ballots for mayor. For city council, there will be runoffs for each of the seven districts. Those candidates are:

In Roswell, early voting will be at the East Roswell Branch Library at 2301 Holcomb Bridge Road and at the Roswell Branch Library at 115 Norcross Street.

In South Fulton, early voting will be held at the South Fulton Service Center at 5600 Stonewall Tell Road and the Wolf Creek Library at 3100 Enon Road.

Early voting takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in those locations.
