Gwinnett police have suspect in New Year’s shooting death

Gwinnett County Police have obtained an arrest warrant for a suspect in the homicide of a man found shot to death in the driver’s seat of a car in a Buford apartment complex parking lot Thursday night.

Police are looking for for Quindarius Keshun Morton, also known as “Q” as a suspect in the death of Reginald Bien-Aime. Morton is described as black male, 5’11”, 165 lbs, brown eyes, short black hair, with multiple tattoos.

Gwinnett County police said officers found Reginald Bien-Aime dead when they responded to a call that four to six shots had been fired Thursday night at The Reserve at Ivy Creek Apartments on Appaloosa Lane.

An officer at the scene told Channel 2 Action News the car was in the back of the gated complex and the driver’s-side door was open but it was not known if the shooter was inside or outside the car when the gun was discharged.

Gunshots were heard in the area before the man’s body was found.

Anyone with information is asked to the Gwinnett County Police Department (770) 513-5700.
