Jake Steinfeld, chairman of the National Foundation for Governors’ Fitness Councils, Gov. Nathan Deal and First Lady Sandra Deal will cut the ribbon on a new state-of-the-art Live Positively Fitness Center at three of Atlanta area schools on Monday and Tuesday. Gwinnett’s Berkmar Middle School, and Atlanta Public Schools’ Harper Archer Middle School and C.L. Gideons Elementary School were selected as national champion schools earlier this year. They were selected for their efforts in promoting physical fitness innovation and healthy living standards to their students. Students at each school will get to try their fitness center’s equipment.
