It’s not clear why Sandra Keith allegedly removed Lamont Peterson from her car.

The two were in Keith’s car about 1:30 a.m. Friday when she removed the physically disabled man and left him in the middle of Summit Lane in Riverdale, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Peterson is paralyzed from the waist down.

If you ask Peterson, he’ll tell you a few different stories about what happened, including that Keith removed him because he was drunk, the news station reported. At one point, he changes the story and says Keith didn’t put him out at all and that she did nothing wrong.

Peterson’s mother said it was all a misunderstanding.

Whatever the case, Keith faces a charge of felony abuse of a disabled adult. She is out of the Clayton County jail on a $10,000 bond, according to jail records.

She also faces an open container charge for a half-empty bottle of Hennessy found in her car, Channel 2 reported.

It’s unclear what the relationship between Keith and Peterson is.
