The FBI are searching for three men accused in eight armed robberies in metro Atlanta.

The FBI is searching for three men accused of robbing eight businesses in metro Atlanta and violently attacking employees.

Between Jan. 8 and Jan. 23, an armed robbery crew held employees at gunpoint, beat them, forced them to the ground and fired shots at them, FBI Atlanta spokesman Kevin Rowson said in a statement.

Rowson said there have been as many as three men involved in the armed robberies. In at least one of the robberies, a woman accompanied the men. However, it was not clear what her exact involvement was.

Surveillance footage released of a Jan. 14 robbery at a Family Dollar on West Avenue in Conyers showed two men walk in, point a gun at the cashier and force her to open the register. A woman wearing a gray sweater accompanied them. The two men in that case fired shots in the business.

Sandy Springs police also released footage of a Jan. 23 armed robbery at a Walgreens on Roswell Road that showed two men forcibly take a drawer from a cashier while a third stood watch at the entrance.
