A man was arrested on murder and aggravated assault charges in the weekend shooting death of a man outside a Clayton County hotel.

According to the Clayton sheriff's office, Cary Duke approached Joshua Norred about 8 a.m. Saturday at the Stay Inn and Suites in Stockbridge. Wearing a mask, Duke fired at least three shots at Norred, got into a vehicle and drove away, the sheriff's office said.

U.S. Marshals on Thursday captured Duke at a Hampton Inn in Conyers.
