3 stabbed in Athens; suspect found naked in Wal-Mart
Three people were injured in a weekend stabbing, and the suspect was found naked inside a Wal-Mart under the influence of LSD, Athens-Clarke County police said.
Adam Scott Presley, 21, was arrested on three counts of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated battery, police said.
According to the Athens Banner-Herald, the stabbings occurred shortly after midnight Saturday in a home in southeastern Clarke County.
“Mr. Presley, while being assessed by EMS, told medical personnel on scene that he was under the influence of LSD and admitted that he stabbed several people and commented that ‘there is nothing wrong with that,’ ” police told the newspaper.
One of the victims is in intensive care, the Banner-Herald reported.
Officers used Tasers on Presley to try to subdue him and eventually had to gain control of him physically, according to the newspaper.
