Nearly three years after a 41-year-old Cobb County woman disappeared, the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for the person who killed her.

On Monday, Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta offered a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the death of Deborah Lee Crawford of Marietta, Paulding sheriff’s Cpl. Ashley Henson said.

Crawford was reported missing August 2013 and was last seen by a friend at an America's Best Inn and Suites, Henson said.

Her skeletal remains were found in October 2013 in a shallow grave near an empty subdivision and North Paulding High School, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation identified Crawford six months later and officials determined she was murdered, Henson said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477 or the sheriff’s office criminal investigations division at 770-443-3015.
