Atlanta police have released surveillance video of vehicles they believe were involved in Monday’s shooting at JCT Kitchen & Bar in Midtown.

Police think the vehicles are a black SUV and a silver sedan.

The shooting victim, 25-year-old Bruno Bafico, was standing in the parking lot of the restaurant on Howell Mill Road with his wife about 9 p.m. when someone attempted to rob him at gunpoint, police said.

“The robber chased the victim into the crowded restaurant, and continued to fire at the man,” Atlanta police spokesman Carlos Campos said.

Bafico was hit in the leg and abdomen, according to the police report. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical but stable condition, police said.

Police have not released a description of the robber, who left the scene before authorities arrived.
