A Kennesaw State University student and his roommate at the Greenhouse Patio Apartments were robbed Wednesday morning, police said.

The robbery was reported about 10:40 a.m. near the university on George Busbee Parkway, Cobb County police spokeswoman Officer Alicia Chilton said.

A man without a mask forced his way into the apartment with a gun and stole video game consoles and cash, Channel 2 Action News reported.

He wore an ankle monitor similar to what someone on house arrest would have, Channel 2 reported.

Officers on the scene told Channel 2 that three shots were fired as one of the victims scuffled with the gunman in the parking lot.

Police are searching for a suspect.
