Wanted: Church burglar. Description: Likes pancakes.

The person who burglarized a south Fulton County church around Christmas left behind an Xbox, a flat-screen television and a small Macintosh computer, according to police.

But the person took the time to make pancakes in the church kitchen during the incident, according to a Fairburn police report.

“Never thought I would see pancakes listed as stolen property in a report,” Fairburn police Deputy Chief Anthony Bazydlo said. “We’ll give the local IHOP a heads up.”

An official with the First Baptist Church of Fairburn reported the incident to police, who responded on the day after Christmas about 11:15 a.m. The incident happened between then and Dec. 23, according to the report.

The official, Lewis Allen Ecker, said someone put the television on a couch and had “piled up” an Xbox 360 and a Mac computer on the floor. The only item reported missing was a $10 backpack.

There were no signs of forced entry. Ecker thinks someone left a door ajar.

Police posted surveillance photos of the suspect on Facebook. No word yet on what type of pancakes he likes.
