A man was killed overnight when his vehicle left the road and flipped before coming to rest in a parking lot, according to Alpharetta police.

The crash happened on eastbound Windward Parkway near Alderman Drive, police spokesman Howard Miller said.

The car went up an embankment, flipped and came to a stop in the parking lot of a business, according to Miller.

The man’s identity and other details were not released.

“No other vehicles or people (are) suspected to be involved,” Miller said.

The incident is under investigation.
