Man held without bond on rape charge

A Cleveland man was arrested Sunday in connection with the rape of a woman in Hall County.
Lewis Junior Halle, 52, is accused in a rape that took place on C. Rogers Road in the Gainesville area, Hall County Sheriff's spokesman Lt. Scott Ware said.
The woman and and Halle were acquainted, Ware said.
Halle was booked into the Hall County Jail where he was held Tuesday without bond.
The case remains under investigation.
