Man dies 3 months after Cobb shooting

A 22-year-old man has died more than three months after a drive-by shooting outside a Cobb County townhome community, police said.

Jeremie Brown was shot about 10:15 p.m. Feb. 28 outside the Upland Townhomes in the 6800 block of Mableton Parkway, Cobb police Officer Alicia Chilton said at the time.

Witnesses told Channel 2 Action News they heard dozens of shots.

Brown was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died Friday morning as a result of those injuries, police said.

“The Cobb County Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit continues to investigate this homicide,” Sgt. Dana Pierce said.
