A 19-year-old man accused of shooting and killing a homeowner while he changed the locks on his new house was arrested, Fulton County police said.

Dexter Hubbard turned himself in at the Fulton County jail Aug. 11 accompanied by his lawyer, police Cpl. Maureen Smith said. Hubbard remains in jail on murder, aggravated assault, cruelty to children and possession of a weapon charges.

He was on the run for four days in connection with the shooting death of Soloman Williams.

Williams, 58, was changing his locks when police say Hubbard tried to barge into the Gossamer Street home in Union City’s Oakley Township subdivision. His wife and children were inside at the time.

No other details were released.
