Deadly shooting investigation underway at Union City apartment

A man was shot and killed inside a Union City apartment, police said.

Authorities were dispatched to the Evergreen Commons Apartments on Ga. 138 on a domestic call, Officer Jerald January said Wednesday in a statement.

When officers arrived, they found the man unresponsive in one of the units.

The victim’s name has not been released because his relatives have not been notified about his death.

Investigators are still on the scene.
