A Florida woman refused to let go of a deputy’s crotch after an odd, dangerous incident at her home.
Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at a home in Crestview and arrived to find a 35-year-old woman in her bedroom, according to NWF Daily News.
Authorities couldn’t reach the woman, who was not identified, due to clutter blocking their way into the room.
Eventually, the woman left, but grabbed a hammer on her way out. Deputies were able to disarm and then handcuff her.
While she was being escorted to a patrol car, she lunged toward a deputy while screaming and cursing, according to NWF Daily News.
Authorities then attempted to load the woman into an ambulance, at which point she grabbed a deputy’s crotch and refused to let go. After a struggle, the deputy was able to push the woman away, freeing himself from her grip.
The woman was arrested and charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and simple assault.
